I’m 3.5 years out and things are much better. Only problems when movements are too hard or too soft. It took at least 2 years for things to be a lot better. Still have bleeding with extremes but pretty stable.
Thank you, I'm still sore after about 3 weeks out from hard bm. I see my surgeon on the 21st.. This always scares me.

Colorectal surgeon?
Greetings, Brendaklein: If you are bleeding from an anal incision, you should be seeing your colorectal surgeon! If you are bleeding from a fissure, a CR curgeon can also help. A dietician might be able to help you control your diet to cut down on constipated stools. Please don't suffer - act.
