Abandoned

Hi, I just wanted to put it out there to anyone feeling abandoned by their friends and family. Or maybe they're acting like they don't care. Having been on the opposite when my mom got cancer I believe I can speak on this. I tried to be there for her but it was depressing and terrifying to the point of despair at times. I know it was worse for her but it almost felt like it had happened to me. That's how much I cared. I wasn't always there for her cause I couldn't cope. Not everybody is strong enough for you or themselves. So, hopefully it brings some of you peace of mind to not be confused as to whether people quit loving you. They didn't.
