in Sarcoma #1

My sister has soft tissue sarcoma.  She begins 800mg of Votrient this week  The cancer invaded her hip and tibea, causing the knuckle of the tibea to break off.  A PET showed it also in her liver.  Any Votrient  experiences?

    Hi Jeff,

    I just joined CSN because my son-in-law has been diagnosed with an extremely rare sarcoma called EHE. He's been on Votrient for about a month. His cancer is in the blood vessels of the pleura around the lungs. So far nausea, weight loss and deep and persistent pain are among the side effects. I realize it's been six months since you posted. My purpose here is to express my hope that your sister has been responding positively to treatment. 

    Another reason for writing this is to ask if you might have any experiences which could help us to deal with this. We are sad and fearful at this point, although we haven't given up!
