RAI Scan Results...I could use advice
Hi,
To give back story I was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer in October of 2019. I had a complete thyroidectomy in December of 2019 and it spread into my lymph nodes so I had to receive RAI, I just completed that. My doctor ordered a Chest CT scan that I need to get done because there is an "ill defined area" in my right lung that popped up in my RAI full body scan. He said it could be an artifact or mild inflammation froma cold but I haven't had a cold. Does anyone know what an artifact is? Google is taking me to lung cancer stuff when I type it in. He said they do not think it is a nodule but they want to make sure.
Any advice could help. I just feel so drained from all of this. It has been one thing after another and I just want to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
