in Kidney Cancer #1

I will be having my only kidney removed next month.Lost right one to cancer 20 years ago.I do have HBP,CHF,Afib.I am 72 years old.I need to know about the effect of dialasys

with my medications,Also need to know how much liquids I can consume & is there a strict diet I must use.Thanks for any information given.I am sure there will be more questions as time goes by. I am new to the forum.

    So sorry to hear what you are facing. It will be life changing and must be frightening. I agree with AliceB that the answers to those specific questions will come from your medical team. Keep asking questions when you have appointments and take good notes. Or better yet, can someone go with you and take notes? I found it really hard to absorb anything past "it is cancer."
