Purple and white fingers
I am using capecitabine 3500 Mg's a day. 2 weeks on 1 week off. I am 2 days short of ending my second round. My question is has anyone else developed red then purple then white fingers. They hurt and alternate between purple and white. There is pain and also some numbness. But it's mostly my left hand. I have some redness and pain in my other extremities. My oncologists sent me to the ER. They said they didn't think it was hand-foot syndrome, but they think it's from the Capcecitabine. There was also some pain radiating from my hand up my forearm. They ran tests and ruled out most other possible conditions (heart, vascular, bloodwork). They prescribbed me Norvasc 5 Mg's. Has anyone else gone through this scenario, if so do you know what this is?
