Opdivo side effects

in Head and Neck Cancer #1

I have finished radiation treatment for metastisized HPV16 positive  throat cancer.  Spread to the lungs.  Next treatment step for me is Optivo.  Has anyone taken Opdivo.  What were your side effects?  How effective was Opdivo on your cancer.

    Opdivo effects update

    Had first Opdivo infusion yesterday for HPV16 throat cancer that metastisized to lungs.  Some fever at the end of the day but basically no real side effects yet.  In case somehow experiences this treatment.  I will have three infusions, every four weeks, then we will complete a scan to see effectiveness.  Nice to finally have a treatment with hardly any side-effects.
