Exercise and endometrial cancer

Exercise may curb odds of some cancers

Adults who met or exceeded daily physical activity recommendations had an up to 27%, up to 19% and up to 17% lower risk of developing liver cancer, myeloma and kidney cancer, respectively, according to a study in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. Researchers also associated increased exercise with up to 14% reduced odds of colon cancer in men, as well as up to 18% lower likelihood of non-Hodgkin lymphoma and endometrial cancer, and up to 10% lower breast cancer risk among women.
