Herceptin side effects - gradually worsening joint aches/stiffness?
I've been on herceptin for a little over a year now, for uterine cancer, but I thought I might get more feedback here. I'm gradually getting more and more achy - just stiff achy joints, not very bad, but slowly getting worse. It's so slow that I thought it could be a side effect of the more intensive chemo I completed about 9 months ago, or the radiation I finished about 6 months ago, or just normal aging, but now I'm wondering if this could be a side effect of Herceptin. It's just very slowly progressive - I figured that achiness after Herceptin would be a sudden and big thing right after an infusion.

Prayers going up
I hope you have better days ahead. Yes, it could be a SE. I am 3 yrs out. I take the anti estrogen meds. I had the Herceptin in the past. I ached then, I ache now. I dont know when it ends. I hope someone with a longer history might pipe in.
I am now doing water aeorbics at the Y in the heated pool. It gives me an hour of relieve.
Hugs
Annie
