    painful

    Has anyone had a painful vaginal exaime after having raditition on lower stomach. My doctor did some clipping in there and I'm afraid he cause damage for future problem. Am I just being paradiod. I need to do a utrasound . Do you have to drink a lot of water and hold it for this test. I'm old and don't think I can do this! I don't want to deal with this doctor that hurt me so much. I'm on medicare and I don't think they will pay anther doctor for the same examine. anyway any feedback would help!

    Sorry to hear about your experience cinda.  It's not at all unusual to have pain issues after radiation and even after debulking surgery.  It seems that all of us could use some pelvic floor therapy after all this.  But if you are uncomfortable with your current doctor, you should see if you can seek a second opinion.  That is not an ususual requrest and Medicare should allow it.  Good luck.

    Hi Tethys41, new to this sight was told I had colon cancer a year ago. now they say this. Thank you for your responds. cancer s....ks but its nice someone else takes the time to say they care. I don't know your story but wish you the best!
