PET scan today

in Anal Cancer #1

So I had my two year PET scan today.  Was diagnosed October 13, 2017 and finished treatment with radiation and chemo December 17, 2017.  Put all my weight back on and feeling great.  Had my pet scan today and everything looks great.  You think the waiting for results would get easier and maybe it has some but still makes me anxious.  At least I got results the same day.  For the most part bowel movements are decent just really narrow.  Doctor mentioned today dialation under sedation if bm become painful but not really an issue for now.  Has anyone had dialation under sedation and does it help?

    13 months post treatment

    I still have problems with bm's. I never heard of dialation in the bum was an option. I have my second scan this Nov. I get very nervous

    about it.

    I'm getting my results of first cat scan since finishing treatment.  Hoping for good news.  Always nervous.  My bm's have been better.  Eating more fiber has helped me.  I just have to get used to this "new normal", I guess.
