Ampullary Cancer

I had ampullary cancer and had whipple surgery. 22 lymph nodes were removed and tested. All were clear of cancer. Oncologist is recommending chemotherapy to prevent recurrenace of cancer. I'm 72, healthy and very active. I'm reluctant to have the chemotherapy. Does anyone have similar experience, decision, comments?
