Glucose meters aka Glucometers

Hi there,

Has anyone currently here tried a bit of freelance blood glucose management?
I am thinking of buying a meter and logging my glucose and seeing how it changes.
I can use a reference standard and my wife has agreed to periodic tests as well, she is a pretty rock solid fasting glucose standard so if the meter throws weird results I know it is liley to be the meter and not the wife!
