Reconstruction issues

I had a mastectomy and reconstruction on my left breast the end of 2015.  An implant in my "good" breast evened me out so I was supposed to look balanced as I was small breasted to begin with and the reconstruction would make my left side look slightly different from the right side.   Recently have had problems with the left implant getting hard.  Right one - no problem.  And even more recently, am having a tortuous itch in/on left breast that has kept me awake all night.  Scratching/rubbing does not relieve the itch.  Has anyone else had these problems?  If so, any suggestions?  I'm not living in the state at present where the surgeon who did the reconstruction is.  In any case, he's changed his practice to cosmetic plastic surgeries. I plan to research other centers that specialize just in reconstruction, but wanted to know if anyone on this forum has experienced something similar.  Thanks!
