oral (tongue)
My dad has had half (November 2018)of his tongue removed and replaced with the upper part of his arm. For the most part he is doin well. However any insite on how long the healing process will take and when and what we can do to help him move forward to solid food. Would be great he is always in Good spirits, he try’s everything we throw at him, we have to be careful because some of the food he has tried have ended up in the lung. He talks well, he gets the chills easily, and fatigued someday worse than others.
Any input on this would I’m sure be helpful to our family.
Please share your own experence with us, maybe we can help each other.
