Alive and (Relatively) Well

Hi there,

Cheese Queen is alive and well, just terribly nauseous after her operation. She'll be back to posting for herself as soon as it clears up, hopefully SOON.

What our poor Susan doesn't have to go through!! Is she still in the hospital? All I can say is this better fix the problem and not have made new ones. Hope you told her that the natives get restless without her here and that we're all pulling for her to get better soon. Thanks, B!

Isn't it great that we keep up with each other and let others know that they are in our thoughts! Thanks der Maus and NTFC for making us aware of CQ and Kat.  I belong to another group - Aging Horsewomen - and we share so much - not just about horses.  Support is so important. Warriors all !

I'm very glad to hear that CQ is doing well, but sorry that she's still experiencing nausea this long after her surgery.  Hope we hear from her (and KatnHat too) in the very near future!

I am very, very worried about her

Her last report was concerning, and we haven't heard from her for a while. I know that like me, the Doxil/Avastin combo did not work, and her doctors were about to put her on another treatment.

I am also worried about survivingsu. I know she usually doesn't post here much, but the last time she posted was in 2018.

I hope that CQ is making a good recovery, and the nausea soon passes.

Good point, NoTime. I do think of her and hope/pray she's hanging in through her latest treatment regimen.

Heard from Cheese Queen, she's being admitted for a bowel blockage. (Guess that explains the nausea.)  She said prayers are very welcome.

Thank you for the update. No wonder we haven't heard much from CQ. If it's not one thing it's another. I do hope she feels better soon.

Geez...how much can one body take???

Sure hope both the stent surgery and bowel obstruction are successfully treated so she can get some relief and get back to 'normal'
