I have been recently diagnosed with Esthesioneuroblastoma, and had my surgery done 2 weeks back. My frozen section margins were negative. Unfortunately, one of the margins for the dura came back as positive, on the permanent section report. Ideally, I would like a second surgery to get negative margins.
I am meeting with my doctors next week, but wanted to post this here to see if I can get some information ahead of my meeting.
Trying to see if anyone has come across this type of situation, and know if second surgery can be done to get negative margins?
