Anyone Please talk to me and HELP ! Thyroid Sonagram with TI-RAD5
Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone is doin well!
I always had normal Thyroid bloodwork, but I had these nodules checked by sonagram and FNA.
The Mid Pole Right Thyroid gland nodule size is 1.8 x 1.6 x 1.5 cm solid, isoechoic, taller than wide, and
punctuate echogenic foci scored at TI-RAD5 (highly suspicious) this was FNA on 7/1/16 benign results.
Inferior Pole Right Thyroid gland nodul size 1.9 x1.2 x 1.6 cm solid, hypoechoic, wider than taller, and
scored TI-RAD4 (moderately suspicious) FNA on 3/19/2007.
I am sched to have another FNA ON 4/26/19, from what I am reading this can change from benign to malignan,
can anyone give me more information? I am so confused.
My voice is hoarse and raspy, I am very fatigued and I have gained 30 pounds in the last year, feel like I am
not running on my cyclinders with brain fog, with chronic pain and fybromyalgia.
any help would be appreciated

Radiation treatment as an infant?
Did you happen to have been born in the 1940s or '50s? I've been trying to contact people who, like me, had radiation treatment for an enlarged thymus as an infant and was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and had a thyroidectomy 25 years later. Now I'm discovering now that other cancers in the head and neck area are showing up in similar people who are now in their 60s and 70s.

I know this thread is old but
I know this thread is old but decided to post in case you visit it for responses and support. I am having the exact issue now. I had radiation over 10years ago so it makes me higher risk to. My TRAD score was 3 my original biopsy was inconclusive but tested at a "molecular" level and found no markers so benign. I have huge swelling from thyroid nodule (2cm) up time my ear. My lymph nodes swollen and entire side of neck aches. Hot/cold flashes fatigu.
so I am with you! Your TRAD score is more concerning. Then mine. I'm glad you were getting a second biopsy. I think they watch it until nchanges and redo biopsy. If you read this let me know how you are doing now. I hope all is well for you.
