Surgery scheduled for tomorrow.......maybe

Met with the surgeon today. left with a scheduled surgery on the 29th. Got a call as soon as I got home. The surgeon had a cancellation for tomorrow and wanted to know if I wanted the slot. After several phone calls to parents and work, we are tentative for 4:30 tomorrow at Cleveland Clinic Fairview.  Robotic partial neph to remove a suspect 2.9 cm enhancing lesion  

All is pending insurance approval and pre surgery blood work. 

The skeptical side of me says the insurance will be an issue. I give it a 50/50 chance of actually happening tomorrow. Either way I have to be prepared in case it does. Lots to do in the next few hours!

Did not. The surgery isn’t till later afternoon so I think they think I’ll be clean by then.

If you go you'll have the best sleep since Dx. Hopefully the little turd is completely removed. You might feel awful for a short time. The body bounces back and you live your life post Cancer surgery. Hoping to hear how well you're doing Post Op, best thoughts for you and your loved ones.

Best of luck man!  All good, get it over as soon as possible! I cant see how insurance could say no to this procedure though they are trying to reject my latest cat scan so who knows.  Wishing you a successful surgery and a quick recovery!
