I am 9 years cancer free today! I had UPSC And Endometrial Adenocarcinoma  when diagnosed. My CA 125 is holding steady at 7.1 I had 6 rounds of chemo and 3 rounds of vaginal brachytherapy.  I am 68 years young and still enjoying an active sex life with my wonderful husband who has been with me through everything.  Feeling blessed today.

    Thank you Michaelynn

Thank you for the words of hope. I was Stage 3 EA. Finished chemo 12/12/18. I got my first written NED last week. Unfortunately, we hear so many poor outcomes with this disease that it can be very unnerving. Its so good to hear positive news. Congrats!!!

    Milestone

Congratulations! That is wonderful news considering that you had such an aggressive form of uterine cancer. It just goes to show you that it doesn't pay to lose hope when you are first diagnosed. Treatment is worth it. I just hit a milestone where my gyn-onc said I can start doing 6 month checkups instead of every three months yesterday. I didn't feel like celebrating when I finished chemo because I still had radiation and recovery ahead of me, but this time my husband and I celebrated. I sure hope this continues like it has for you. News like yours keeps us going.
