Update
So, I had another appointment with my oncologist this week. It was a bit of a letdown as we mostly rehashed information I got at my appointment in February. The nice thing was when my wife asked her, "So then, he's doing good?" the answer was, "No, he's doing great." So she's happy with the results of the surgery and my recovery from it. We didn't get a treatment plan going forward, though. And that's what we were looking for. She ordered a CT scan to inform the plan. It sounded like real chemo was going to be prescribed. I'm not looking forward to that. I was fine with 7+ years of fake chemo with minimal side effects. I was hoping to escape doing real chemo with real side effects. Oh well, if that's what has to be done to give me the best chance of beating this SOB, then that's what we'll do.
Best wishes,
Ed

Great to hear the surgery and recovery is going well
Ed,
I am so glad to hear the results of surgery are positive and the recovery is going well. I understand not looking forward to chemotherapy and the side effects. But as you say, we have to do what we have to do to keep on moving forward. Let's hope the prescribed chemo has minimal side effects.
Wishing you the very best.
Regards,
Paul
