Immature Teratoma in male

Hi,
My husband diagnosed with immature teratoma grade 3 and currently he is has completed first cycle of BEP and his AFP, HCG,LDH levels are slightly higher than the last time when he started this treatment. Is that normal to have AFP level 800 and before it was 700.Does it mean chemotherapy is not working.please let me know. I am freaking out.
