Catheterizing

After having a radical hysterectomy 2//2/18 & 25 external radiations I’m left with a weak urethra and a poorly compliant bladder. I have constant leakage

After seeing my urogynocologist  recommended Botox injections to my bladder and collagen injections to my urethra which would mean catheterizeing 5/6 times a day  The injections might last 3/6 months then more injections.  I catheterize for 11 months and I hated it but the leaking and rashs are horrid.

Have any of you dealt with this?  I’m strugglong with a decision. the surgery is not an option

any input would be appreciate  thx

My friend who is 83 had the botox injections. Hers lasted almost a year before she had to have a second one. She leaked constantly before the botox and it completely stopped. I have a small amount of leakage and am ok wearing one pad a day BUT, if it gets worse I'm going for the botox.

    Hope this helps!!
