2 Questions
Hello
I was diagnosed with pap. thyroid cancer and had my lymph nodes and thyroid removed in September 2018. I am planning to have radioactive iodine treatment in May.
My first question is: should I do my annual physical health exam before or after my radioactive iodine; and if I should wait how long after the treatment should I do my physical?
My second question is that, before I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, I developed several symptoms which I thought would deteriorate or become eliminated after my surgery but it is the same or in some cases worse. I have issues with vision, hair growth and most of all my semen is very watery and there is barely any ejaculate.
Will these symptoms and issues disappear after my radioactive idone? I am on Levothyroxine 200mcg at the moment.
Thank you
