Good morning Ladies,
Is anyone being treated at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston TX? Surprisingly my husband's insurance covers the gyn/onc at MD Anderson so if my local doctor at Davis is considered out of network then we are willing to fly me to MD Anderson to see the docs there. So just wanting to know the names of a good gyn/onc there. Let me know your thoughts and if you go there who you like.
Thanks bunches!!
Lulu xoxo

I got a second opinion at MD Anderson. I saw Dr Shannon Weston. I liked her very much and she seems to be involved in many cutting edge research projects.

I had my second opinion, two CT scans and followup visits at MD Anderson as well. The genetic counselors in that department are so kind and amazing. Additionally, Dr Karen Lu is the department head and supposed to be one of the best in the world. However, I'm not sure she is seeing new patients because she is acting chief of staff. I'd encourage you to read the bios of each doctor listed on the website, and choose the one who most closely aligns with your needs. Best to you!

Thank you all of you for your replies. Challenging times right now but trying to take one day at a time and focus on the present. Again thank you.
