I have noticed since a week after the second chemo (no surgery yet) that my pelvic area has been slightly sore especilly a week or so after chemo. It's not much at all and no need for pain meds, more feels like an old black and blue mark and mainly when I'm getting up.
I'm hoping it means the chemo is doing something good down there, as I never felt anything when stuff was apparently growing out of control in the past.

Yes, this could be a good sign. Tumor lysis and death could cause localized inflammation. When do they plan to re-image? After the 3rd round of chemo?

They will do a scan after my 4th which I have this Thursday. Last they told me it would be about 2 weeks after my 4th chemo they will do imaging.

That does sound like a good sign to me also. I know it is hard to wait for imaging but give your body the maximum amount of time to see the results of chemo. I hope you will share wonderful news with us when you get the test results back.
