    I had one in the vaginal area, which was removed, years prior to my diagnosis of anal cancer.

    Anal Skin Tags

    I have a sizable one right outside of the anus.  (there has been no discussion about removing it)

    Thank you for your responses. It is just a worry with everything else. Surgeon told me what I have is anal skin tags. Just a worry since this is what basically took me to the doctor in the first place before diagnosis. I have my 8 month scan next week. So far have been told cured so hope this next scan shows the same. Thank you. Appreciate all of you and wish you all the best!

    HPV causes it. Can be removed by Crio .
