Interesting New Findings in Anal Cancer Treatment

Martha...
This is interesting news for sure and hopefully will offer another option to many in the future. Thank you for sharing!
When I was initially dx in 2011 at Stage 3b, I was treated with the protocal of Cisplatin/5FU but in combination with a trial at the time of Carboplatin as well. I do not remember dosing details and don't believe there was another drug with that but I was taken off the trial after just a couple doses because I had a severe allergic (ish) reaction. Its too bad I was so horribly sick at the time because there are specifics I just don't recall. I'll have to remember to ask my doctor for more info one day...(I'm sure he'll love digging through those old notes, lol) I am now however curious about the Carboplatin.
