Testosterone Supplement and RCC?

One of my doctors suggested doing testosterone replacement therapy. Does anybody know if this is risky as a person who has had RCC? Does anybody know if it increases the risk of recurrence?
I've heard some hormones affect cancer rates/recurrence. Just not sure how to find this out. I guess I can ask my oncologist, but I'm not sure he'll know either.
Are any of you taking testosterone replacement and have had RCC? What did your doc say about it?
Thank you,
Todd

Can you do a search on smarttodd121 said:TC?
What's TC? I was wondering about kidney cancer recurrence and if testosterone could make it more likely to come back or be more aggressive if it comes back? Are you talking about another form of cancer? Testicular?
Thanks,
Todd
Can you do a search on smart patients? I know it has been discussed there quite thoroughly with links to research. Sorry I cant be more help than that.
