Low Level Laser Therapy for Mouth Sores

Hello everyone,

A local media personality in the Pittsburgh area where I live has HPV SCC  and is documenting his journey on his website to raise public awareness and to support the effort to get children vaccinated.  He is enrolled in a trial and is getting immuno therapy along with his chemo and radiation therapy.  One of the interesting things I saw was the use of low level laser therapy to reduce the ulcers/sores in his mouth/throat.  I was treated at the same hospital system  but they didn't have the low level laser therapy but in one of the episodes (12th) on the website they mention that a nurse had the treatment and it worked well for her so she worked to get a grant so the hospital could get one.  They also mention that it isn't covered by most insurances as of yet.  As of today (9/30/2018)  there are 13 episode out on the website. I hope someone finds this beneficial.
