Svt Supraventricular tachycardia

in Kidney Cancer #1

My husband got his third immunotherapy  treatment on Monday and his heart is back to racing. Anybody having this issue. He has betablockers but then it starts racing a few hours later. Anyvo9 have suggestions.

    I don't know anything about this, but wanted to at least lend a bit of support if I can. I have been wondering how you guys are doing. Have you signed up at smartpatients.com? You are more likely to get quicker responses to the more difficult questions there, as I believe there are a lot more members.

    So sorry you're going through this and I hope it has resolved by now. Keep us posted, please.

    This is bound to be linked to attack on the thyroid, so in addition to beta blockers is he being given anything to compensate for what his thyroid is not doing?

    Eventually the thyroid would be expected to stop doing this, but his seems to be resisting for quite a while.

    But then, this stuff is all endocrinology to me.
