Should we try opdivo?
Hello everyone,
My mom was first diagnosed HCC at year 2010, and then at 2012, 2014, May 2018, September 2018. Tumors were all small (all are about 1.0cm) at these 5 times, and thus we chose radiofreqency ablation operation to resect them. Because HCC relapses 2 times in past 4 months, her doctor believes that her liver ‘soil’ becomes worse, and HCC will relapse more often than before, and the doctor suggest us to try Opdivo to strengthen her immune system. What do you guys think about doctor’s suggestion? Should we try Opdivo treatment with our situation? Or even we should try Nexavar? Or is there other option avialable?
Thank you very much
Chris
