Does I131 work well again seven years later ?

Had I 131 seven years ago and low level of TG  (< 0.5) ever since.  There's a 0.5 cm mass in the left lower neck.   One endo said use I131 and the other endo said I131 is not very effective.  He suggests taking out tissue with a needle, checking to see if it is thyroid tissue, and if so, have a surgeon remove it under general anesthesia.  Geeez.  I rather try 131 again.

How to decide?

    Hopefully you are still on

Hopefully you are still on this website. I’m going through something similar But I was told thyroid medication would suppress it and keep it from growing. What did you end up doing in the end?
