Question

 

is there any chance that a removed kidney tumor  of 4 cm , type 1 , grade 2 with clear margins can create a metastasis after 6 months??

    Unfortunately, anything is possible with RCC but it's highly unlikely.

    If the primary tumor is gone,

    no, it can't cause mets.  But if it had already shed cells that traveled to another site, yes.

    AP is correct on the anything is possible.

    But possible. Chances are like 1-3% possibly less. Small chance you already had a met at the time of the nephrectomy if they didn't check. Did you find out what's going on? Why are you worried about this? Please let us know the result.
