Deciphering Test
Hi! My mom had a chest CT scan with contrast. Based on the results, the primary care doctor recommended a PET scan. Even with a referral, it’s going to be at least a month before she can get in to see a specialist. We want to try to understand if this is something to really worry about, or if this could be nothing.

sorry but no one can really say - have mom ask the dr
if she is concerned. Sorry but without more history and really even then it is really too hard to say as we, well myself at least is not a doctor to be medically qualified to properly answer that. If she is really concerned she should go see her dr and talk about it.
