I would think so, as long as

I would think so, as long as your treatment is over. Ask the radiation oncologist's staff for other suggestions. Readers still under treatment - never use anything on your skin that will interfere with the radiation beam. Ask!

    would ask your docter

i was told to use Aquaphor Healing Ointment Advanced Therapy, but my visiting nurse grabbed me the walmart brand instead. worked great but i think i would have healed a little faster with the Aquaphor, also have that at walmart. Also was prescribed silver sulfadiazine cream 1% for the anus area, stopped the itching on contact and soothed any pain. only use after the radiation treatment and washed off with dove unscented soap before the next treatment. ask docter, but think it helps for burns and skin tears during treatment.

Yes, silver sulfadiazine cream might help.  It is by prescription, so OttawaMarc, ask your doctor.
