Nausea

in Colorectal Cancer #1

I am starting my third folfox treatment tomorrow. I am suffering from nausea I feel seasick everyday, I have to try to get back to work any solutions

    Call your doctor

    If you are experiencing sickness they can put you on something to help you feel better.  There is no reason why you should feel miserable.  Call tomorrow and see if they can get you something.  Hope you feel better soon.

    There are so many meds

    they can give you to help the nausea, ask for something to help you. I hope you find something that works soon!

    I think emend is the best anti-nausea med

    I was lucky not to have extreme nausea but I heard of emend so I was thinking if the nausea goes south, I'll ask for the emend.  I think there are plenty anti-nausea drugs out there, just ask your doc.  And if you can, avoid going to work first as you may not have pleasant experience while there and might just end up taking a leave.  Good luck.
