5 years officially "Cancer Free"

It has been a long time since I was here, but wanted to let all new folks here that there is a light at the end of a miserably long tunnel.

ENT says she only needs to see him once year. Long list of long term side effects but he is glad to be here today. 2 years ago today he was able to walk his daughter down the aisle. Seen both his kids plus their SO graduate college this year.  Next up grand babies and the last one to leave the house.

So everyone keep on keeping on and life's a garden, dig it.

    Thank You

    Sandy,

Thank you for the update and yes, we can have a laundry list of issues after our travel down this road. So glad you checked in and Rob only has a yearly checkup now.

My Best to Both of You and Everyone Here

    OUTSTANDING

Great news on hitting that magical 5 year point, and even better that he's been there for significant family events.

I'll cross 6 years in a few weeks, and have a similar long list of permanent side effects, but as a good friend of mine put it, I'm able to look at the leaves of the trees instead of just their roots

    Congratulations!

    Very Good News

Congrats on the 5 year clean mark.  It is a big deal knowing you've crossed that invisible line.

    Great

Amen such great blessings to be at the 5 year mark.

    NED Never Get's OLD

And blessed to be able to walk his daughter down the aisle. And witnessed both his kids plus their SO graduate college this year.

Continued blessings to you and even with the side effects life is good

    Robswife 87,

There may be that light at the end of that really long tunnel, but, there is no price for lack of artistic ability.
