ASCO meeting abstracts 2018
ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology) annual meeting is next week. The abstracts are searchable.
More info for colon and rectal cancers, and a few for anal cancer. Possibly more for us from The GI Symposium sometime later in the year.
One interesting abstract compares 5FU and capecetabine(Xeloda)

ASCO conference
I went to the ASCO site and tried to access some abstracts. I was not allowed to read any of them. I guess you have to be a doctor and sign up to read the papers. I will try to find the info in other professional papers ... maybe NIH or cancer.gov has them...
Definitely see some papers that should be read on biopsies, immunotherapy, etc.
Just reading the topics being presented shows you how much they are "practicing" medicine and the treatments, trials, protocols and all of it are constantly in question... also shows that the side effects of bone death, cognitive issues, etc. are KNOWN problems...
Good for informing us!
