Coffee Shake

Struggling through this 2 weeks ago finished 30 rads, 6 X cisplatnum plus surgery. Actually I am physician and love to cook so let’s apply a little science. Taste is a complicated subject, food has aroma which is sense of smell and is intact, taste from taste buds...all gone, and feel in the mouth seriously altered. I have found coffe with ice cream a great shake foundation, add protein powder, choc syrup etc. This Shake will taste like coffee, the lack of sweet, salty, sour, umami will not be missed because they are not there in coffee, use strong coffee and aroma comes through nicely. Imagine you are drinking flavored coffee it’s not bad by far the least painful thing to eat for me.
