OK. Finally figured out how to start a new thread and hope there's still time to hear from you.Biopsy tomorrow morning.
Have experienced horrid facial swelling and pain inside and out for awhile now. Dentist ruled out TMJ/D yesterday and clearly didn't know cause. Pain is disabling and I don't understand how radiology found a spot that wasn't on scan just a short while ago. Fast growing tumor? Recurrence? If recurrence, what will they want to do. Has anyone had facial swelling with tremendous pain??? Dentist suggested that not wearing my dentures could be cause but really think problem started before dentures were an issue...
I am terrified and very alone in this. Please share anything.

Lewcap...waiting for my biopsy results which should come today. You will be in my prayers. As far as swelling in face of mouth... I have some with pain . The pain is around a 3-5. My biopsy is on my lung for two nodules. Facial swelling is...? Possibly recurrance, fibrosis,or lymphodema. My pain mostly limits neck movements...feeling of a noose around my neck, tightening of jaw muscles, and pain in ear . Right now the focus is the lung nofules. Please try not to worry. I know it's hard but the support on here is incredible. God bless you.
