Biopsy results

My biopsy sample was not a good one, but there was no sign of cancer. There was adipose tissue in it, so  he perforated my uterus but he said that's no big deal. I do not need to do anything else at this time, just go back for another u/s if I have any further bleeding six months or more from now. I really kept at him with 'are you sure?' and he said if there was cancer, he'd have gotten more tissue in the sample. I have to take him at his word, as we can't get 2nd opinions covered and I can't afford to pay for one. So, I'm relieved and hopeful that he's right. 

On to the next. I have decided to have bariatric surgery and my GP is making the referral. It takes roughly 9 months from referral to surgery where I am, and involves a lot of appointments and tests. I need to shed some weight so I can  have knee replacement. After that I guess will be loose skin removal.

I hope I can still come here from time to time to find out how you all are doing. I wish you all the best and thank you so much for all the support you have given me.

Wonderful news that you won't be a frequent flyer on our board! We always hate to see people come but are thrilled to see them go when they don't need us anymore, LOL. I know how tough this was for you but you rose to the occassion, and your future surgeries will be easier thereby. Congratulations.
