Appears to be of benefit to have a longer overnight fast and avoid late evening eating.  Longer overnight fasting correlates with lower HbA1c (blood glucose marker).   High HbA1c is a marker for diabetes or metabolic syndrome which in turn is correlated to higher cancer incidence.
