My Father
Dear Father: It's been 15 years but it seems like yesterday. You died on Christmas morning, 2002. You always told me that when you die, "you hurt the people you leave behind." So true. But of course, not intentionally. It was snowing and you just sat there in your chair and left us without warning.
All I knew is that you didn't feel well for about 4 days and you didn't want to go to the doctor or hospital. You died on your own terms.
I visit you at White Haven Memorial Park. You are right where you wanted to be. The crypt by the door.
Till we meet again. I will see you later.

Karen
