mets to adrenal gland
Hello everyone! i have not been on for awhile. For those of you that are new to this, you have come to the right place. I have been dealing with colon cancer for 12 years!! I have had mets to the liver (twice), the diaphragm, and now the adrenal gland, second time. there is activity in the paratid gland, they have no idea whats going on ther, so i am off to the ears, nose and throat dr on thursday. Iv had surgery on the liver and diaphragm, also on the adrenal, 5 months ago. Since its back i am thinking they didnt get it all. Now my question, I am seeing a radiologist about starting radiation on the adrenal. I have not had this before and would like to know what to expect. Im told it will be targeted. Also, has anyone had cancer of the paratid gland? If so, what was your treatment. Sorry for being so long winded.
Ive been through a lot, but I am still here and still fighting. So good luck to all of us. And thanks in advance for any infomation.

Sorry
I'm sorry that you have gone through so much and it seems like you are a person that just keeps plowing through every thing thrown at you. I'm not able to help you but just wish you well. Hopefully, someone with your situation can help you with your questions. Keep up the great attitude.

Hello
I am sorry for all that you have been through, and hope that this time, they get everything out of the adrenal gland.
In my experience here, I haven't heard the Adrenal Gland mentioned much, if at all. I was wondering if the Kidney Cancer forum/page (https://csn.cancer.org/forum/142) would be a better place to post.
But, we have a vast amount of experienced members here, also, and I hope somewhere along the line you find help.
Good luck!
