Now I wait for the results tomorrow. They said my gfr was 89. They said that was pretty good. I just agreed as I’m still new to all of this. Praying for my buddy NED to visit me tomorrow.

    A GFR of 89 with 1 kidney is great.

    My GFR was 86 about six

    My GFR was 86 about six months ago.  According to the lab report, over 60 is considered normal.  Other sites say 89 or above is very good.  So you’re doing great.

    The scans were all clear.
    The scans were all clear. Talked with the Dr for a bit. They said since I am younger they are going to follow me longer with scans. Next scan is in 6 months.

    I did ask the Dr about a bone
    I did ask the Dr about a bone and brain scan. She said I don’t need one. She said there are different things they factor in to have one done? Thoughts?

    Hoss,

     

    Ask about a Chest CT instead of a Chest xray if you have not already had one. The downside is a chest CT can pick up tiny harmless nodules not visable on a Chest xray which may require a rescan.

    They did end up doing the ct
    They did end up doing the ct of the chest abdomen and pelvis. I thought insurance was going to complain but they approved it all.
