    Did A Scan Yesterday

I'm right there with you, did my scan yesterday - as Tom Petty said "...the waiting is the hardest part."  Here's to the best results for both of us!

5.1 x 4.3 x 3.6 cm heterogeneously enhancing mass arising from the upper
portion of the left kidney consistent with a renal cell carcinoma.

    No evidence of metastatic disease.

    Right renal cyst.

    Next steps

A lot of good news with those results.  First: you will probably have stage 1 RCC.  Pathology will confirm this after it's taken out.  Second:  This is a big one--No Metastic Activity.    On Monday you'll go over next steps which will probably include scheduling a surgery date.  Once that happens, things start to move pretty quickly.  I know this it tough, but try to relax and focus on the positive.  Take care and keep us posted.

Yeah, mine gets injected as well.  It's supposed to give you a metal taste in your mouth and make you warm all over.  I get no metal taste and I only feel warm in one very specific area of my body.
