    There have been quite a number of new members who just had their surgery. All of them stated the surgery is not as bad and at least they can put the disease behind. I am sure you will be fine too

    Good luck.  There will be a few tough days but each day you should feel a little better than the day before and the people here can explain lots of the pains and aches you might have.   I am 3 weeks post partial laproscopic nephrectomy  and while I am not 100% energy wise there is now zero pain.  Good luck, sending healing thoughts.

    Just remind yourself that you're in a safe place with good medical care all around you. A little shot to the IV, a little gas, and the next thing you know, you'll be waking up in recovery. I hope everything goes well and you have a smooth recovery.
