Drugs for nausea that work
I was so dreading my 3rd and last chemo last week because of the severe nausea and vomiting that I experienced with the 2nd round and was so surprised when it didn't happen. The only thing different this time was they gave me a scopolamine patch that really seemed to help compared to all the other drugs I took for the 1st and 2nd rounds. Very happy about it. Now if I could just start swallowing good again.
And, Curyln? How the heck are you? Haven't seen a post in a while dear.

Hi dean! It has been awhile.
Hi dean! It has been awhile. My last day of treatment was depressing- swollen epiglottis so couldn't swallow safely, required steroids and ng tube. But feeling better now, swallowing Ensure and throat healing well. Ng ready to come out and I might try soft foods tomorrow. Some of my taste coming back and almost tapered off steroids. What a roller coaster ride. I hope that you are doing well, been thinking about you, hugs! Glad that your treatment is ending. We did it!
