    Dear Strawberry girl, I hope

Dear Strawberry girl, I hope you come back or find what you need.  Since dysgerminoma is found within the ovaries I would suggest working with a gynecologic oncologist.  They specialize in cancer of they all the reproductive organs in women - ovaries, uterus, fallopian tubes, cervical, vulvar, and vagina.  Find a good cancer center - they are scattered around the country - or a good hospital that works with one of those centers.

No doubt this is a shock for you but your daughter is going to be going through a lot.  She is young but not alone.  I know she may not want to use this chat board, but she would be welcome - as are you.  Please feel free to ask us anything.
